Article 53

Article 53 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 sets out the general obligations applicable to all GPAI model providers, regardless of classification as having systemic risk, including technical documentation, transparency about training data, and mechanisms for the preservation of copyright. Paragraph 4 provides that providers may invoke Codes of Practice to demonstrate compliance.
